Zwitserleven helps people understand their pension, providing them with a realistic view of their financial possibilities. This enables individuals to make informed choices for their financial future. Therefore, Zwitserleven focuses on offering high-quality and easily understandable products. Choosing the right investor profile is a key example of this. To make the right choices, it is essential to understand the underlying concepts.

Motivation

How do you provide participants with enough information to make an informed choice? Zwitserleven believes it is crucial to guide participants effectively in selecting the most suitable profile. Therefore, they aimed to further develop the process by which the investor profile is determined.

Concept

The new method, based on scientific research, helps participants find a more suitable profile. The collaboration between Zwitserleven, Yellowtail Conclusion, and Triple A – Risk Finance has led to an innovative online funnel accessible through MijnZwitserleven, the personal environment for pension participants.

In this new approach to determining the most appropriate investor profile, participants go through three components:

Risk Attitude: Using the Holt & Laury method to determine risk tolerance.
Risk Level: Assessing the level of risk the participant is willing to take.
Risk Capacity: Questions that determine whether the participant can bear the desired risk.

The result from these three components provides the appropriate investor profile.

The result

After completing the entire flow, the participant will see which investor profile best matches the investment risk they want and can take. The participant is guided through the selection process, allowing them to make a suitable choice independently.
