The LEF Foundation is committed to making young people between the ages of 15 and 22 financially aware. The foundation has set up a teaching programme especially for MBO students. Research shows that these students in particular encounter financial challenges more often than students in higher education. Our sponsorship activities focus on strengthening this programme, with the aim of minimising the number of mbo students with financial problems.
The LEF programme’s guest lectures are an important element where financial experts share their knowledge and experience. A number of Yellowtail Conclusion colleagues are already involved in this and we encourage our other employees to sign up as guest lecturers, as part of our culture of knowledge sharing and community engagement. “We expect many colleagues to get involved to share their experience,” says Edwin Lodder, Managing Director.
This collaboration aligns perfectly with Yellowtail Conclusion’s mission to improve consumers’ financial lives, here specifically by giving knowledge ahead to a new generation. “The principle ‘prevention is better than cure’ is what we stand for,” continued Lodder. “Through this collaboration, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on the financial future of young people.”
